Busch wins big at Fontana

b Kyle Busch dominated Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series race in Fontana, Calif., claiming victory by keeping second-place Carl Edwards at a safe distance in the closing laps.

Busch led 144 of the 150 laps in the Camping World RV Service 300 at Auto Club Speedway, averaging 123.402 miles per hour. The win was his seventh of the season in the series and the 18th of his career.

"This thing was flawless tonight," Busch said of the No. 18 Toyota he drove for Joe Gibbs Racing. "It was just amazing." Hear what else Busch has to say in his post-race interview.

The victory was the 16th for Toyota in 27 Nationwide Series races this season and the 15th for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Brian Vickers ran third, followed by Jeff Burton, Jamie McMurray and Joey Logano. Points leader Clint Bowyer finished seventh. Rounding out the top ten were David Reutimann, David Ragan and David Stremme.

Series action continues Sept. 5 in the Emerson Radio 500 at Richmond International Raceway.
