It’s Kyle Busch again, this time in Mexico City
Holding off challenger
Marcos Ambros by less than a second, Kyle Busch sprinted to his third
consecutive race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series on Sunday in the Coronoa
Mexico 200 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
A few laps before his pass to win, Busch had been hammering hard on Scott Pruett. Pruett yielded, and Ambrose and Busch passed him for the top two slots. In third was Pruett, followed by Carl Edwards, Patrick Carpentier and points leader Clint Bowyer.
With three wins in a row, Busch is rethinking his light signup for the NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule.
“The consideration is there, but still, it’s a race by race deal,” he said. “We’ll make a decision here shortly. I love winning. I’ll run as long as I can. That doesn’t bother me a bit.”
