Nationwide Sponsors CIAA Basketball Tournament

As part of our commitment to educational excellence, Nationwide sponsored the 67th annual Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament in Charlotte, N.C..

This year’s tournament (Feb. 27 – March 4, 2012) featured the Nationwide On Your Side Fan Zone where visitors participated in the World’s Greatest Fan Experience in the World. They also enjoyed the World’s Greatest Dance Contest, celebrity lookalike games and dance cams.

The CIAA is the oldest African American athletic conference in the nation and is committed to the development of future leaders. To support this endeavor, Nationwide has provided over $600,000 in scholarships to student athletes in the last five years.
