Kenneth D. Davis farms 2,300 acres of corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa, and raises beef cattle near Leesburg, Ohio.
Davis was elected to the Nationwide board in 1999.
Davis is board chairman of South Central Power Company, Ohio’s largest rural electric cooperative. He is a member of the Ohio Corn Growers Association and the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association and was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture to the National Cattlemen’s Beef board, where he served as chairman of Consumer Information. He was appointed by Ohio Governors Bob Taft and Ted Strickland to the board of the Southern Ohio Agriculture and Community Development Foundation.
Davis is past president of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. He served as a member of the Farm Bureau’s board of trustees from 1989 until 1999, and as first vice president of the board from 1994 until 1998. Davis also served as a board member of the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture.
