Keselowski Claims His 1st Series Victory

After narrowly missing victory several times, Brad Keselowski claimed his first win Saturday in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at Nashville Superspeedway.
Keselowski took the lead from Clint Bowyer with five laps remaining in the Federated Auto Parts 300 to win by 1.980 seconds. It was his 49th start in the series.
The JR Motorsports driver heads into this Saturday’s Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway in fifth place in series standings. His team owner is Dale Earnhardt Jr.
"I feel like I paid some dues," Keselowski said after hoisting his first NASCAR Nationwide Series trophy, in the form of a Gibson Guitar.
"To catch that break like I did with Dale Jr. and this Navy Chevrolet, it vindicates it. I’ve got a team that just keeps getting better every week, and I keep getting better every week. I felt like this was just a matter of time." Hear what else Keselowski had to say in the post-race interview.
The race ended with David Stremme in second, followed by David Reutimann, Clint Bowyer and David Ragan in the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Mike Wallace, Scott Wimmer, Kelly Bires, Landon Cassill and Greg Biffle.
