Michael J. Toelle has served on Nationwide's board of directors since 2013. Toelle is a former board chairman and long-time board member of CHS, Inc., the largest cooperative business in the United States.
Toelle has served in a number of leadership roles with various agricultural organizations, including the Agricultural Council of America and Country Partners Cooperative. Toelle is owner of T & T Farms, a diversified farming company in Browns Valley, Minn.
He serves as a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives and the Cooperative Network. Toelle previously served as chairman of the CHS Foundation and as a member of the Nationwide Insurance Board Council.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in administration and industrial technology from Minnesota State University-Moorhead.
