Nationwide Tour

The Nationwide Tour is the official proving ground for future PGA TOUR champions. 

As the preferred personal lines property insurance and casualty insurance provider of the PGA TOUR, Nationwide Insurance supports golf’s best up-and-coming players by serving as the Nationwide Tour’s title sponsor.  2009 marks the seventh year of Nationwide’s title sponsorship, making Nationwide Insurance the longest running title sponsor in the tour’s history.  

With more than 25 events annually, including four international tournaments, the Nationwide Tour provides professional golfers with their best opportunity to play their way onto the PGA TOUR. The top 25 players on the Nationwide Tour's season-ending money list earn full-time status on the PGA TOUR for the following year.

In addition to its title sponsorship of the tour, Nationwide supports the dedicated people who help make local tournaments a success. Nationwide Tour volunteers are eligible for insurance discounts through an affinity program with Nationwide Insurance.
