Philanthropy
- Since 2000, the Nationwide Insurance Foundation has committed more than $270 million to more than 3,000 nonprofit agencies.
- In the past decade, Nationwide Insurance Foundation has contributed $10 million to accredited colleges and universities matching the personal gifts made by associates, agents and retirees.
- The Nationwide Insurance Foundation has contributed more than $6.5 million to help ensure funds are available for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund when disasters strike.
Volunteerism
- Nearly 275 of our leaders serve on 330 local nonprofit boards across the country.
- Since the On Your Side Volunteer Network® launched in 2005, Nationwide associates have volunteered 142,000 hours saving nonprofits $2.9 million in human resources.
- In the last six years, Nationwide volunteers have connected with over 1,600 nonprofit organizations.
Workplace giving
- Since 2000, Nationwide associates, agents and retirees have pledged nearly $80 million to over 800 United Ways.
- Nationwide associates have contributed 14 million meals to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank since 2000.
- Nationwide associates donate thousands of pints of blood each year. In Columbus, Ohio, Nationwide associates donate 8% of the county's blood supply.
