Auto Insurance Claims Process
There are three steps to the claims process for auto accidents:
1. You’re in an accident or suffer a loss of property
2. You contact us by one of these methods to report a claim:
- Call 1-800-421-3535
- Complete an online form
- Contact your agent
- Sign in to Account Access
3. All auto accident claims are individually handled by an auto
insurance claims professional, who can:
- Contact you to verify data on the claim
- Answer any questions you may have
- Confirm your coverage
- Obtain auto accident claims documents and initiate any necessary investigation of the claim
- Establish the amount of auto insurance claims damages to be paid
- Authorize payments according to policy conditions
