Mobile Banking by App, Web Browser or SMS/Text Message

Mobile Banking gives you three easy ways to access your Nationwide Bank® accounts – by mobile app, mobile web browser and SMS/text. It’s an easy – and secure – way to stay connected to your finances. And, with the eDeposit and mobile bill pay features available on the downloadable app, you can remotely deposit checks and pay bills right from your mobile device.

If you have a Nationwide Bank checking, savings or money market, your account is as close as your smart phone or iPad.

Bank by mobile app

Download our mobile app for a faster, easier way to access your Nationwide Bank accounts. With our Mobile Banking app, you’ll be able to:

  • Deposit checks from your mobile device with eDeposit
  • Pay your bills anytime, anywhere with mobile bill pay
  • Check your account balances
  • View your transaction history
  • Transfer funds
  • Search for free ATMs

Our mobile app is available for most iPhone, iPad and Android devices, so you can do your mobile banking anywhere.

Bank by mobile web browser

Enroll in Mobile Banking to get mobile-friendly access to your Nationwide Bank accounts. Then visit m.nationwidebank.com to:

  • Check your account balances
  • View your transaction history
  • Transfer funds
  • Pay your bills using mobile bill pay
  • Search for free ATMs

Bank by SMS/text message

With Mobile Banking, you can create text alerts that notify you when your balance reaches a certain amount, when a check clears, when your ATM card is used and more. You can also text us directly for information about your account.

Use this list to help you bank by text. You can always text C to 79680 to have a list sent to your phone.

Many SMS/text alerts are immediate, but some transactions take a little more time to process. You’ll receive these alerts between 9:30 and 10 p.m. ET. These include:

  • Purchases you make using your PIN
  • Cleared checks
  • Overdraft protection

Sign up for Mobile Banking

There’s no charge from Nationwide Bank to use Mobile Banking, but texting or browsing rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Get started in three easy steps:

  1. Enroll. Log in to your online banking account and look for the Mobile Banking link on the left. Enter your mobile phone number or email address (if enrolling an iPad) to get an activation code.
  2. Activate. For mobile web banking, visit m.nationwidebank.com using your mobile browser and enter your activiation code to complete enrollment. Be sure to bookmark this page for faster viewing later. For SMS/text banking, we’ll text you and ask for your activation code.
  3. Download the app (if necessary). Download the Mobile Banking app, then enter your activation code. (Mobile Banking is available from the App Store if you have an iPhone or iPad, and Google Play if you have an Android phone.)
