How to change your password

Your username and password are the keys to your Nationwide Bank® account, so keep your money safe by creating a strong password. Make sure it’s 6-16 characters and includes numbers and letters. The longer the password, the more secure it will be.

To change your bank password, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your account at nationwidebank.com
  • Select “customer profile” from the left-hand column
  • Then select “security information”
  • Enter your new password

Here are some additional tips for creating a secure password:

  • Avoid dictionary words
  • Use both digits and punctuation
  • Use a word only you are likely to know and is easy to remember (e.g., mother's maiden name, name of a childhood pet)
