Robert Hall

Robert Hall joined Brown Capital Management in 1993 and has been in the industry since 1962. Prior to this, Hall was a partner of Emerging Growth Partners, Inc. and a portfolio manager at T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. Hall worked outside the investment business for eight years.

He earned a Masters of Business Administration at Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science in engineering at Johns Hopkins University.

Kempton Ingersol

Kempton Ingersol joined Brown Capital Management in 1999 and has been in the industry since 1989. Prior to this, Ingersol was an analyst in investment banking at Lehman Brothers, a vice president at Dain Rauscher Inc., and a vice president at Grigsby Brandford & Co.

He earned a Masters of Business Administration in finance at the University of Michigan and a Bachelors of Arts in political science at Amherst College.

Keith Lee

Keith Lee joined Brown Capital Management (BCM) in 1991 to launch the Small Company Investment Service. He is also chairman of the management committee, which is the governing body of BCM. Prior to joining the firm, Lee was a vice president at Nexus Consulting Group.

He earned a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Arts in psychology from the University of Virginia.

Amy Zhang, CFA

Amy Zhang joined Brown Capital Management in 2002 and has been in the industry since 1993. Prior to this, Zhang was a portfolio manager/analyst at Epsilon Investment Management LLC and an analyst at Templeton Worldwide. She is a CFA charterholder.

Zhang earned a Masters of Business Administration in finance from the Columbia Business School and a Bachelors of Arts in economics at Manhattanville College. She served as president of the Baltimore CFA Society, Inc. and held various other positions within the organization, where she remains a board member. Zhang is a member of the CFA Institute.
