Crisis Counseling

In the aftermath of a workplace accident, injury or other trauma, employees may struggle with depression or other feelings that make it hard to return to normal. Crisis counseling can be an effective, empathetic way to help employees cope with disruptive events.

Nationwide^® Agribusiness’ partner CorVel^® helps employees restore morale and get back to work. Providing aid to workers after a crisis may significantly benefit your business, in terms of productivity and reduction in additional claims. Plus, it's simply the right thing to do.

CorVel^® services are designed to help your employees in the event of:

• Motor vehicle accidents
• Amputations
• Blindness
• Thermal or chemical burns
• Crushing injuries or multiple broken bones
• Electrical shock
• And other harm

Staff members who witness a fatality or any of these injuries also may receive support through this program.

How it works

CorVel^® provides an initial counseling session for an individual or a group after a covered claim. Nationwide Agribusiness absorbs the cost of that counseling session. Sessions may be conducted at a home, hospital or job site. Your management team will be informed of issues that may affect attendance as well as other identified needs.

The claims adjuster coordinates the scheduling of the session with the customer or sometimes the customer will call CorVel^® directly.
