Understanding Insurance for Farm Irrigation Equipment

One of the most important coverages available through the AgriChoice^® policy is the coverage for your irrigation equipment. Our experience shows center pivots are subject to wind damage as well as from a variety of other causes of loss.

We insure fixed (Center Pivot) irrigation systems the same way we do farm structures. You and your agent choose which causes of loss you want to insure for.

AgriChoice also provides coverage for equipment breakdown or mechanical failure of the above-ground moving parts (for example, control panel or motors). Talk to your agent about the deductibles that apply and you will also want to be sure your irrigation equipment is properly valued in the policy.

Portable irrigation equipment is insured in the same way as farm equipment. It automatically is afforded Special Causes of Loss coverage.
