We listened to farmers and ranchers concerns and developed innovative coverage for defense of unwarranted allegations of animal cruelty. If you are subjected to prosecution for animal cruelty and have to defend yourself, even if you are found not guilty, you may end up facing a large attorney bill. Our AgriChoice package provides coverage up to policy limits to reimburse you for attorney fees in lawsuits where you are found not guilty.

Coverage for Your Animals

If you choose not to insure your animals, AgriChoice still provides you with coverage on your animals if they are hit by a car, truck or train or accidentally shot. That coverage is provided at no additional cost to you and provides up to $500 per head. Higher limits are available.

If you do choose to insure your animals, they would be protected against broad causes of loss.

Coverage for Your Hay

As a livestock rancher or farmer, you probably keep a supply of hay on hand. With AgriChoice, you can insure that hay. Most farm insurance companies have a limitation for how much can be paid out for a loss from any one stack. AgriChoice provides up to $100,000 as a per-stack hay limit.

Pollution liability coverage

Farmers and ranchers have exposure to liability for pollution from a variety of farm operations including:

• Overspray/misapplication of chemicals
• Leakage from on premises storage tanks and lagoons
• Off premises liability from transportation
