Opening a Mutual Fund Account

Talk to your investment professional about making mutual funds part of your investment plan. Determining the right mix of mutual funds for you will depend on your circumstances, goals, time frame and tolerance for risk.

1. Always carefully read prospectuses for funds you’re considering. They provide important information about the product you are purchasing. You can obtain prospectuses through this website, from your investment professional or by calling us at 800-848-0920.
2. Complete the application that applies to your situation. Read the instructions carefully to learn about additional forms that may be required and read about sales charges.

3. Read about signature requirements for your application. Some forms require either a notary public signature or a signature guarantee. These aren’t interchangeable terms, so read carefully to determine what is required.
