2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series bonus program enters year two

Columbus, OH — The most exciting bonus program in the NASCAR Nationwide Series is returning in 2010 – Dash 4 Cash.

Nationwide Insurance’s Dash 4 Cash, introduced in 2009 by Nationwide Insurance, NASCAR and ESPN, is a one-of-a kind bonus program for the NASCAR Nationwide Series. This year, the four NASCAR races in the Dash 4 Cash bonus program are Nashville (4/3), Kentucky (6/12), Iowa (7/31) and Texas (11/6).

Just like last year, eligible race winners at each of these races will receive an additional $25,000 bonus. If the race winner is not eligible, the prize money rolls to the next Dash 4 Cash race.

This year’s end of season bonus for the NASCAR driver accumulating the most points in the four race program is up to $75,000, a nice raise from 2009’s $50,000 bonus. Eligible drivers for the year-end bonus cannot have driven in more than seven NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races during the season.

The 2010 Dash 4 Cash bonus program is open to all NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers , including those who may not have a full-time NASCAR Nationwide Series ride. NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers with a full time ride in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series must enter every NASCAR Nationwide Series race in order to qualify for the cash payouts in the four races but would not be eligible for the year end bonus.

Brad Keselowski was the big winner in 2009 – winning the $75,000 rollover bonus at Iowa Speedway, $25,000 in Memphis and taking home the $50,000 season bonus.
