Charlotte, NC — NASCAR code words are about to start appearing in unexpected places throughout the NASCAR world. Back by popular demand, the Nationwide Insurance Code Spotter Sweepstakes will give NASCAR Nationwide Series fans a chance to win a once in a lifetime VIP experience, or one of hundreds of daily NASCAR-themed prizes, beginning February 19th.
Nationwide will partner with JR Motorsports, Kevin Harvick Inc, Joe Gibbs Racing, ESPN and the team that eventually wins the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship to offer VIP experience packages to four lucky code spotters.
Fans can visit codespotter.com to enter the codes they spot for an opportunity to win. The more codes you spot, the greater your chances are to win.
Fans can spot unique codes by:

and ESPN2
• Visiting the Nationwide at track display at NASCAR Nationwide Series
races

The unique rewards code for this press release is SPOTTER. Starting February 19, fans can visit codespotter.com to create an account and enter this code for a chance to win right away.

Code spotters will compete for the following grand prizes, which include travel and lodging, awarded over the course of the season:
The JR Motorsports Experience: The winner of this prize will enjoy a VIP experience at the July 1 NASCAR Nationwide Series race in Daytona. They will spend a day at track watching behind the scenes action in the garage and along pit road as JR Motorsports drivers prepare for race weekend. Winners will get to meet Dale Earnhardt Jr., Danica Patrick and Aric Almirola, observe practice and receive a hauler tour prior to dinner with members of the race crew. On race day, the winner will ride in the pace car and watch part of the race from a JRM pit box, before celebrating with the race winner in Victory Lane. (Team website: JRMracing.com)
Kevin Harvick Inc. Race Prep for Bristol: The winner of this package will join the Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) crew at their shop in Kernersville, NC, where they will see the truck being loaded for the August 26 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Serving in an honorary pit crew role, the winner and guest will have a chance to ride in KHI’s race team hauler as it parks in the Bristol infield. They will watch practice from the top of the race hauler and have an opportunity to meet KHI driver Elliott Sadler. NASCAR Nationwide Series Champions Day Experience: The winner of this prize package will join the driver who wins the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship as they visit Nationwide’s hometown and headquarters in Columbus Ohio this December. The winner will accompany the champion to a Columbus Blue Jackets NHL Hockey game and other fun activities.
ESPN and Joe Gibbs Racing VIP Experience: Nationwide, in
partnership with ESPN and JGR, will host a behind the scenes ESPN
experience at the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series race in Las Vegas. The
winner will also go behind the scenes with the Joe Gibbs Racing
Nationwide teams where they will visit the hauler, watch practice and

First place code spotters will win one of 16 autographed items provided
by the participating teams, including car hoods, doors, deck lids, fire
suits and other items.
Nationwide will also award an average of one instant prize a day to code spotters, including NASCAR.com SUPERSTORE gift cards, Richard Petty Driving Experience gift cards, die cast cars, head set scanners, tickets to NASCAR Nationwide Series races at Bristol Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway and NASCAR.com Trackpass memberships.
In 2010, over 1.2 million codes were entered by fans. Thousands of lucky winners won prizes, including grand prize winner, Charley Tiner from Conyers Georgia, who won a customized Roush Ford Mustang, a VIP experience at the Roush race shop and a driving experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Tiner will accept her prize this Thursday.
