Nationwide Insurance, Allied Insurance continue tornado response in North Carolina

Raleigh, NC — Nationwide Insurance and Allied Insurance claims representatives continue to assist customers in North Carolina in response to tornadoes that caused damage in the state over the weekend. Policyholders with storm damage should call the Nationwide claims hotline at 1-800-421-3535 or the Allied claims hotline at 1-800-282-1446.
Nationwide Insurance/Allied Insurance mobile catastrophe sites will be
set up in three locations Tuesday, to assist policyholders in filing
claims and providing humanitarian aid:
• Holly Springs: Lowes Grocery Store, 112 Bass Lake Rd.
• Sanford; Piggly Wiggly, 2412 South Horner Blvd.
• Benson/ Smithfield, Fayetteville and Bertie Counties (mobile locations
out in neighborhoods)
Nationwide and Allied are now reporting more than 2,000 claims in North Carolina, both home and auto.
Nationwide and Allied Insurance claims teams arrived in the affected areas shortly after the tornadoes went through. The number of associates has increased each day and there are currently 300 associates working to assist policyholders with their claims. Claims representatives are currently visiting all losses and in some cases, handing out checks on the spot.
