Denver, CO — Allied Insurance and Nationwide Insurance claims representatives and agents are currently assisting customers affected by the Waldo Canyon fire in the Colorado Springs area. Catastrophe response procedures are in place for providing quick response to customer needs. Catastrophe response personnel are on-site to assist customers with their claims’ needs.
Customers with damage should call the company’s claims hotline at 1-800-421-3535. In the event a customer needs to file an insurance claim, representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist them. When reporting a claim it is helpful to have a policy number or home address available to expedite the process.

damaged areas are dangerous and to use extreme caution. Some key safety
tips to keep in mind when re-entering any burned area:
• Report any electrical damage to authorities immediately and use
caution around burned trees and power poles since they may have lost
their stability.
• When cleaning a property you may be exposed to hazardous materials. It
is important to wear a mask, gloves and coveralls to minimize
exposure.
• If you encounter dead animals on your property please contact your
county animal control authority for assistance with disposal.
