Columbus, OH —The retirement plans industry is complicated and always changing, especially when it comes to regulatory issues. It’s important that financial professionals have access to the resources they need to stay current so they can build their practice and continue to provide the best service to their clients.
In fact, a recent Nationwide Financial survey of small business owners found one of the top attributes they look for in a financial professional is someone who is current on regulatory and legislative changes.1 To help financial professionals stay up-to-date, Nationwide Financial has created the ERISA and Regulatory Online Resource.
The new website allows financial professionals to submit questions and get education from ERISA attorneys at Nationwide. The site will also feature an archive of previous Nationwide responses, as well as a library of regulatory materials such as white papers, sales ideas and presentations.
“Nationwide Financial strives to provide financial professionals with the information they need to build a successful practice,” said Anne Arvia, senior vice president of Retirement Plans for Nationwide Financial. “Our ERISA specialists stay up-to-date on regulatory and legislative changes. They can assist financial professionals in understanding how changes will impact the industry and how they’re affected as a financial professional.”
When financial professionals submit a question, they will be contacted by phone with an answer within two to seven days depending on the complexity of the matter.
