Nationwide Insurance® Announces New Advertising Agency-of-Record

Columbus, Ohio — Nationwide announced today that McKinney will be its new advertising agency-of-record. The Durham-based agency will replace TM, Nationwide’s agency of record since 1998.

In its new role, McKinney will become the primary advertising partner supporting the Nationwide brand and the company’s broad portfolio of insurance and financial service products. The agency will provide creative and media planning services for integrated campaigns that will incorporate both traditional and emerging media, including interactive, social and mobile media.

Nationwide continues in its review of media buying agencies, which will conclude by mid-summer. UM, Nationwide’s current media agency remains in consideration. Nationwide’s relationships with other partner marketing agencies will not change.
