Nationwide Financial NetworkSM launches recruiting initiative
“Get with the iN crowd” theme targets experienced financial services professionals
Columbus, Ohio— As part of a plan to build its ever-expanding retail distribution network, Nationwide Financial NetworkSM (NFN) today launched a recruiting campaign to increase its staff of financial services professionals during the next 12 to 15 months. NFN is an affiliated retail distribution business of Nationwide Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE: NFS).
Built around the theme, “Get with the iN crowd,” the recruiting campaign is designed to encourage financial services professionals to be part of something greater. The campaign’s initial target market is a financial professional with three to five years of experience.
“Being part of the ‘iN’ crowd means our producers have excellent connections to clients through our referral programs, unmatched one-on-one support and competitive compensation,” said Clay Thompson, president of Nationwide Financial Network. “It also provides access to the Nationwide brand, our excellent products and multicultural market support.”
In addition to print and other materials, NFN launched a recruiting Web site, www.JoinNFN.com. Designed to create curiosity and excitement about NFN, the new site encourages potential recruits to contact NFN’s managing partners, regional vice presidents and sales managers by phone. Interested candidates can submit their resume immediately using the Web site.
“It’s an absolute must to have a Web presence in today’s high-tech world,” said Thompson. “We took a different approach to make this Web site experience interesting and informative.”
The Web site contains information about the different referral programs to CPAs, Nationwide Insurance’s property/casualty agents, as well as community banking and multicultural initiatives.
“We give the details on competitive Nationwide products, tools, programs and third-party services that will help financial professionals sell and meet the needs of their clients,” said Thompson. “And, they can view information on our broker/dealer, 1717 Capital Management Company.”
Information on compensation packages, benefits and details about the rewards and trips they could receive for being a successful Nationwide Financial Network producer is also on the Web site.
The site contains links to Nationwide’s annual reports, ratings, community programs and advertising, giving the potential recruit the full range of information on Nationwide Financial®, Nationwide Insurance and Nationwide Financial Network.
