Sacramento California- Allied Insurance and Nationwide claim representatives continue to assist California customers around the clock in response to damages caused by recent wildfires and the winds that fueled them.
As of Monday October 29, 2007, Allied Insurance and Nationwide have received 510 wildfire claims and 283 wind claims..
To date Allied Insurance and Nationwide have inspected 96 percent of the reported total losses. Allied Insurance and Nationwide have also made temporary customer billing changes associated with the wildfires. Policyholders in affected areas will not receive notices of cancellation or billing statements for 30 days. In addition, customers of Nationwide Retirement Solutions' retirement savings plans have been given expedited access to hardship withdrawals to help emergency needs.
