Columbus, Ohio—Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. claim representatives and
agents are assisting customers in Columbus and central Ohio in response
to the damages caused by severe storms that hit the area on Wednesday
evening. Policyholders with storm damage should call the Nationwide
claims hotline at 1-800-421-3535 or contact their local agent.
Nationwide’s claims teams are prepared to provide a quick response to
customers needs. Temporary drivein centers will be established in
the area to assess auto claims. An appointment will be necessary
and can be
made by calling 1-800-421-3535.
Most of the claims being filed from the storms involve wind and hail
damage to personal property and automobiles. Claims are being
reported from Hilliard on the west side of the metro area to Blacklick on
the
east side of town. Nationwide has nearly 400,000 homeowner and
500,000 auto policies in force in Ohio.
