Veterinary Pet Insurance/DVM Insurance Agency (VPI) is the nation's oldest and largest health insurance provider for pets, helping pet owners to afford the costs associated with veterinary care since 1982. VPI Pet Insurance policies protect dogs, cats, birds, and exotic pets. Base medical plans help pay for the testing and treatment of thousand of problems and conditions relating to accidents and illnesses; policies reimburse for diagnostic tests, office visits, lab fees, prescriptions, hospitalization, X-rays, and surgical procedures. Optional Vaccination and Routine Care Coverage is also available.

Pet Insurance Availability

Pet owners insured with VPI Pet Insurance are free to use any licensed veterinarian anywhere. Policies are available in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and are underwritten by Veterinary Pet Insurance Company in California, and in all other states by National Casualty Company, an A+15 rated company.
