Through the CARE Awards, we aim to celebrate outstanding individuals in youth-serving organizations who go above and beyond to make a meaningful impact by demonstrating collaboration, accountability, readiness and excellence.

CARE stands for:

Collaboration:

Builds strong partnerships with families, staff members and the community to promote safety and shared responsibility

Accountability:

Upholds high standards and takes ownership of practices that reduce risk and improve outcomes

Readiness:

Proactively identifies and addresses safety concerns, fostering a culture of prevention and preparedness

Excellence:

Delivers high-quality care and education with a strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement

How to nominate an individual for a CARE Award

Select the nomination form below to recommend an outstanding leader in a youth-serving organization. The nomination period is Nov. 12 through Dec. 19, 2025.

CARE Awards will be given out to 3 honorees per state:

  • 1 grand prize winner per state will receive $500 and an engraved crystal trophy
  • 2 runners-up per state will each receive $250 and an engraved plaque
