T. Michael Kenney, ChFC, ChSNC, RMA, RICP, CHSA, joined Nationwide in 2002. As a member of the Retirement Institute Planning Team, Mike has experience in retirement distribution planning, sales, management, project management coordination, and strategy development.
Through the use of support tools such as Nationwide’s Social Security 360 Analyzer®, the Health Care and Long-Term Care Cost Assessment, tax-efficient retirement income and health savings accounts (HSAs), he is able to help financial professionals position themselves to be experts on their clients’ retirement income needs.
Mike’s career in financial services began in 1992, when he started as a financial professional with The Ohio Company and Stifel Nicolaus. Working with individual clients and small-business owners, he focused on financial planning, estate planning and retirement income planning. While a financial professional, Mike adopted and specialized in time-segmented distribution methods.
Mike is a graduate of Wright State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and statistical analysis. He holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Retirement Management Advisor® (RMA®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), Certified Health Savings Adviser (CHSA®) and Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®).
