12/14/2023 — Inflation fell to 3% in November after starting the year above 6%, another sign the Federal Reserve may stand a good chance of bringing inflation down to its 2% target. While the so-called soft landing for the economy still isn’t guaranteed, the drop in inflation reinforces hope of getting there in the new year.
