Please note: The Nationwide L.inc+ riders are optional income benefits available on certain Nationwide variable annuities. A variable annuity is a contract purchased from an insurance company and is designed for long-term investing. It can offer several ways to generate retirement income , including systematic withdrawals or annuitization, both available for no additional cost, or an optional rider, such as Nationwide L.inc+®, that has an additional fee. The contract value of a variable annuity will fluctuate based on investment option performance. Investing involves market risk, including possible loss of principal. Variable annuities have some limitations, and your clients may be charged penalties if they take their money out early. Withdrawals may be subject to ordinary income taxes, and if your clients are under age 59½, they may also pay a 10% federal tax penalty. Fees and charges can vary. All guarantees and protections are subject to the claims-paying ability of Nationwide Life Insurance Company.
Harness the growth potential of Nationwide Destination® variable annuities
Unlike other income benefit riders, L.inc+ does not limit which investment options you can use, and several riders have no investment restrictions at all. This gives you full access to the entire lineup of over 110 investment options available on certain Nationwide Destination variable annuities, including a broad range of asset classes and 57 funds rated 4 or 5 stars by Morningstar.
Morningstar Ratings are as of May 2025 and reflect risk-adjusted performance. The Overall Morningstar Rating™ is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with the fund’s 3-, 5- and 10-year (if applicable) periods.
Enhanced dollar cost averaging (DCA) is also available.
Rates as of May 1, 2025, for new deposits: 6-month DCA — 6%; 12-month DCA — 3%

[1] The lifetime withdrawal percentage is based on the younger spouse's age and may be lower when the Joint Option is elected.
[2] The benefit base is used to calculate the annual withdrawal amount. It is not the same as the contract value and cannot be withdrawn from the contract.
[3] Please note that you can exercise this feature only once. Also, it's not available in the first rider year and is available only prior to the first lifetime withdrawal.
[4] Any income rolled forward to the following year will be the first dollars withdrawn. It will be forfeited if it isn't taken by the end of the following year.
