Our future value calculator can help you determine how much an initial investment in either of these accounts may be valued at some time in the future.
Start date – The beginning date for your future value calculation. The calculator assumes that this is the date of the first periodic payment if deposits are made at the beginning of a period.
End date – A future date you want to calculate where the valuation of your investment stands. If you want to see what the value of your investment may look like a year from the date of initial deposit, for example, input this date.
Initial deposit amount – The amount of your initial deposit, or account balance, as of the present value date.
Rate of return – The rate of return for this account.
Periodic deposit – The amount you plan to add to your investment each period.
Deposit frequency – How often you intend to make a deposit. This may be weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.
