In December 2019, Nationwide became an “Official Partner of Minor League Baseball” (MiLB) and the “Official Insurance Provider of Copa de la Diversión,” with a multiyear partnership, beginning with the 2020 baseball season. The partnership will showcase Nationwide’s products and services with 100+ MiLB teams in more than 42 states across the country.

The “Official Insurance Partner of Minor League Baseball”

Nationwide is proud to be the presenting partner of several new platforms, all designed with Minor League Baseball’s more than 41 million fans in mind.

  • Through the “Small Business of the Month, Presented by Nationwide” program, Nationwide will recognize small business owners in participating MiLB markets.
  • The “Pet of the Month, Presented by Nationwide” will highlight pet owners and showcase Nationwide's industry-leading pet insurance product.
  • Nationwide and Minor League Baseball will release a new content series, "The Road to the Show, Presented by Nationwide,” which will follow some of baseball's top prospects, highlighting their journey through the levels of Minor League Baseball towards making their Major League Baseball debuts.
  • Nationwide is also excited to be a partner of Copa de la Diversión, MiLB’s ongoing Hispanic fan engagement platform, across 92 teams.

Throughout the season, Nationwide will also highlight local insurance agents in select markets, and the significant impact they have on their communities.
