Grain Bin Safety Week

Grain Bin Safety Week takes place on the third full week of February each year. The purpose is to promote safe practices on farms and commercial grain-handling facilities.

At Nationwide, we are dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of grain bin entry. By collaborating with organizations, agencies and community leaders, we aim to educate the public on these risks and secure funding to equip emergency first responders with essential grain rescue tubes and hands-on training. Our mission is zero lives lost.

Rebuilding grain bins after severe storms

Mitigating storm damage to your buildings is a big part of risk management. If high winds are a concern to your operation, building stronger grain bins can help protect your stored grain and bottom line.

This is why Nationwide launched BinStrongSM an awareness campaign. We help farm and agribusiness owners and operators understand the benefits of building stronger, higher wind-speed rated grain bins.
