Roberta Eckert is a Vice President of the Nationwide Retirement Institute where she is passionate about preparing clients, plan sponsors and plan participants as they navigate the changing world of retirement planning. Her areas of focus are Retirement Income planning and distribution, Long-term Care and Affluent Investor acquisition. She speaks to thousands of financial advisors, their clients and retirement plan participants on an annual basis on these topics.
Before coming to Nationwide in 2013, Roberta accumulated more than 27 years of financial industry experience. Previously, she worked as a wholesaler, Divisional Vice President, Sales Development Leader, Senior Relationship Manager and a National Spokesperson. Roberta is a member of the President’s Council at Nationwide and has won awards based on sales achievement and leadership. She is frequently sought out by the media, including Kiplinger’s, CNBC, Wealth Advisor for her insight in claiming Social Security, Health Care costs in Retirement and the financial issues facing women today.
Roberta is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College with degrees in Economics and German. In addition to her CRPC, CLTC, RCC, CHSA and RICP designations, Roberta holds the FINRA Series 24, 7, 66 and 63 licenses.
