Everyone has traditions. But for some, traditions become their livelihoods. Marji Guyler-Alaniz, FarmHer Founder, talks with Sara Scharlau, a fifth-generation FarmHer at Pleasant Valley Tree Farm in Elk Mound, Wisconsin. Along with her parents and siblings, Sara helps plant 25,000 Christmas trees annually. And while that’s a lot in and of itself, there’s much more that goes into operating and managing a Christmas tree farm.

In this podcast, Sara talks about some of her favorite trees, traditions they have on the farm and how the entire family pitches in to ensure their carry on the family legacy of providing holiday traditions for others. Take a minute to enjoy the holiday spirit and catch up with Marji and Sara in this fun-filled podcast.
