The Nationwide Murray Lincoln Leadership Academy is a nine-month, immersive leadership experience that equips leaders to thrive in a rapidly evolving, digital-first world.
Through a blend of assessments, interactive learning and practical application, participants will deepen self-awareness and executive presence, strengthen organizational leadership, foster innovative thinking, build digital and business acumen, and sharpen their ability to influence outcomes that drive impact.
The Nationwide Murray Lincoln Leadership Academy is a nine-month program that requires commitment and active participation. It starts with a welcome session and DiSC assessment debrief session in February 2026.
There will also be two in-person sessions (March and October) in Columbus, each lasting two days. In between those sessions, the academy will host six virtual development sessions on a variety of topics, each lasting approximately 90 minutes.
Additionally, each participant will receive three 60-minute virtual executive coaching experiences that they may schedule at their convenience. The total time for the program is approximately 46 hours total or approximately five hours per month, on average.
Nationwide has a long-standing commitment to supporting partners and community members. In celebration of our centennial anniversary, we are deepening our commitment by sharing leadership and professional development resources that will further strengthen our communities. Your invitation to participate in the program is an investment in your growth as a leader and in your ability to take what you learn back to your organization — helping to elevate your team or organization, and in turn, make a lasting impact on the broader community.
You’re expected to complete all pre-work and coursework, attend all aspects of the program (virtual and on-site), prioritize meetings with your executive coach and actively participate in the sessions. The development process is greatly enhanced by active participation and engagement with other participants. We also request that you share your feedback and opinions on the program through occasional surveys. This feedback will help us refine the program for subsequent cohorts.
You’ll be assigned an external executive coach who will help you interpret your DiSC assessment, implement a personal development plan, discuss career goals and provide insight into challenges and opportunities you face in your current role.
