Terrance Williams

Terrance Williams is the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Nationwide, where he oversees the enterprise marketing of Nationwide’s financial services and property and casualty businesses. His responsibilities include brand, digital, sports, cause and multicultural marketing, advertising, social media, media planning and buying, customer insights and analytics, customer advocacy, and public relations and communications.

Williams joined Nationwide in 1995. During this tenure, he has held a broad spectrum of Nationwide leadership roles, most recently serving as President of Nationwide Agribusiness. With nearly 25 years of insurance industry experience, Terrance is known as a purpose-driven leader and a dedicated senior executive who strives for continuous improvement and customer loyalty through motivation and empowerment.

Terrance Williams was born in the low country region of South Carolina and decided to pursue a career in the insurance industry at a young age. With these aspirations in mind, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance at the University of South Carolina and a Master of Business Administration at Walden University. Over the years, he’s been active in a variety of local and national organizations, including volunteer board commitments. He’s currently on the board of directors for the Ad Council and the Columbus (Ohio) Regional Airport Authority.
