By adding a Return of Premium Enhanced Death Benefit to your annuity, you ensure that your beneficiaries will receive at least the amount you invested, regardless of how the market performs.

If you die before taking regular income payments through annuitization, your beneficiaries will receive the greater of:
  • The contract value as of the date we receive all required paperwork in good order
  • The total of all purchase payments made to the annuity, minus any adjustments for amounts surrendered1
