Michael Toelle is owner of T & T Farms, a diversified farming company, and is a former board chairman of CHS Inc., the largest cooperative business in the United States. He was elected to the Nationwide Board of Directors in 2013.
Toelle was a longtime board member of CHS Inc. and Cenex Inc., its predecessor before merging with Harvest States Cooperatives in 1998. Toelle chaired the governance unification committee for the merger and served as chairman or a member of several committees for the CHS board.
He also is a board member of CF Industries Holdings Inc., past chairman of the CHS Foundation, and former director of the Agricultural Council of America and Country Partners Cooperative. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Toelle earned a bachelor’s degree in administration and industrial technology.
