What you can claim for towing and labor coverage
While towing and reimbursement coverage usually comes with the comprehensive coverage part of your policy, it’s a good idea to speak to an agent and double check before you find yourself in need of a tow. For an additional fee included in your premium, towing and labor coverage may provide reimbursement for services such as:
- Towing expenses from where your car broke down
- Labor expenses for repairs where the breakdown occurred
- Lockout service
- Fuel/Oil delivery
- Loaned battery
- Tire change
To request auto towing insurance reimbursement
Please email your towing or roadside service bill to tow@nationwide.com with the following information:
- Your name
- Vehicle year, make and model
- Home address
- Phone number
- Policy number
Alternatively, you may mail or fax the above information along with your towing or roadside service bill.
