If you’re bringing the general public to your farm or ranch, you’re involved in agritourism. AgriChoice® Plus provides a range of coverages for businesses with commercial exposures and is designed to be adapted into any of the following:
  • Pick-your-own farm insurance
  • Roadside stand insurance
  • Farmers’ market insurance
  • Incidental hunting activity insurance
  • Select-your-own Christmas tree farm insurance*

To be sure you have the appropriate insurance protection, inform your agent before you begin to use your farm or ranch for agritourism. Some agritourism protection may be provided as an optional endorsement to your farm insurance policy, but these vary by state. Talk to your agent about what options are available to you.

*Cut-your-own Christmas tree farm insurance is not available.

Commercial liability coverage for agritourism destinations

Your agent may be able to package your farm policy with commercial liability coverage, providing you with the specialized protection you need for certain types of agritourism, such as:

  •   Fall fun-fests or haunted houses
  •   Corn mazes
  •   Hay rides (on premises)
  •   Petting zoos

Agritourism activities not covered

Nationwide is unable to provide coverage for certain agritourism destinations. Insurance is not available for:
  • Hay rides that go off premises
  • Inflatables
  • Cut-your-own Christmas tree
