When you get a hail alert, ensure that loved ones and pets are indoors and move your car to a covered spot. If your car is parked at your home, follow these tips.
Tidy up your garage space so that you can park your vehicles inside when a hailstorm is approaching. If you don’t have a garage, consider parking in a local parking garage or under a strong building overhang.
Before a hailstorm, move your car into a garage or to a covered spot. Close the garage door completely to protect your vehicle from damage.
If you’re in your car and on the road, follow these tips.
If you’re on the highway, take the nearest exit and find a covered spot for your vehicle. Acting quickly can help prevent damage and keep you safe.
