Activating your connected car is pretty simple and straightforward. In order to get started, you’ll need to enable data sharing for your vehicle data.

If you have not downloaded the Toyota app, follow these steps to add your vehicle and enable data sharing:
Download the Toyota App
Click on "Add a Vehicle.".
Enter the VIN manually or scan the barcode on the front windshield.
When prompted, accept the "Master Data Consent" and "Insure Connect" consents.
Click "Finish Setup" to save your vehicle.
If you previously downloaded the Toyota app and added this vehicle, follow these steps to ensure data sharing is enabled:
Select the Account Icon in the top right corner of the Toyota app.
Under “Manage your Profile & Settings” click on “Account.”
Under “Account Settings,” select “Privacy Portal and Legal Info.”
Under “Privacy Settings,” select “Vehicle Specific Settings.”
Verify “Vehicle Connectivity” displays “Active.” (If not “Active” click and select “Activate Vehicle.”)
Under “Additional Features,” click “Insure Connect” and then “Manage Consent.”
Review Insure Connect Consent and select “Accept.”
