Know sooner if your identity has been compromised.

Nationwide’s new Identity Protection Portal monitors the deep and dark web where stolen personal information is bought and sold. You can select an unlimited number of the following data points and will receive a notification if suspicious activity is detected:

  • Social Security number
  • Email addresses
  • Date of birth
  • Debit/credit cards
  • Bank account numbers
  • Insurance cards
  • Driver’s license
  • Loyalty program cards
  • Affinity program cards
  • Passport
Nationwide Identity Protection Portal also monitors for compromised login credentials (usernames, passwords and email addresses) on sources such as hacker dump sites, the black market, hacktivist forums, file sharing portals, botnet exfiltration, data leaks and malware logs.

Stay in control of your personal information.

Once you sign up on the Identity Protection Portal with Nationwide, you’ll receive regular access to your credit report and your VantageScore® credit score, one of the most widely used scores by lenders. We also closely monitor your credit profile and will notify you of any of the following changes so you can take action quickly:

  • New inquiries from creditors
  • New accounts opened in your name
  • New addresses
  • New employment
  • New fraud alerts

Identity and credit monitoring, when used together, are an important tool in combating identity theft and minimizing the long-term financial, legal and emotional fallout of fraud.
