In 1926, we began as a small insurer helping farmers get the best value for car insurance. Today we’re one of America’s most diversified financial services organizations. We’re a big Fortune 100 company, but we’ve never acted like one. At heart, we know we’re in the business of protecting people and the things they care about most.

Because we don’t have shareholders, we can allocate our financial and human resources in ways many other companies can’t. We combine philanthropy, workplace giving and volunteerism to make a powerful impact, and we focus our efforts on important priorities like emergencies, basic needs and crisis stabilization.

Our associate giving and volunteerism in action

Each year, a significant number of our associates across the country donate dollars, time and energy to important causes and charities.
On July 22, 2025, we transitioned to a new donation management system. If you are a nonprofit, please complete the following steps to ensure your organization is eligible to receive donations from Nationwide and the Nationwide Foundation.

For technical assistance related to getting set up in the Blackbaud Verified Network, please Request Nonprofit Support. For any other inquiries regarding donations from Nationwide or the Nationwide Foundation, contact: corpcit@nationwide.com.
